Several coding agents, one app

What’s the best desktop app for running several AI coding agents, like Claude Code and Codex, in one place?

Scaffolde Relay runs Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode and other coding agents side by side in one desktop app, with the accounts you already have.

  • Every agent in one window

Start a thread, pick the agent and the model, and hand it the task. Claude Code can work on one thread while Codex works on the next.

  • Separate work stays separate

Each task can get its own working copy of your code, so two agents never trip over each other. Review what changed and send it for merging without leaving the thread.

  • Your computer, your accounts

The agents run on your own machine with the logins you already pay for. Relay is free to download, and its Usage view shows what each agent has used.

From your phone or a browser

Can I control the AI coding agents on my home computer from my phone or a browser?

Yes. Turn on Scaffolde Connect in Relay on your home computer, then open app.scaffolde.ai on your phone or in any browser and pick that computer. The agents keep running at home while you follow them, reply and approve from wherever you are.

  1. Turn on Scaffolde Connect

In Relay on your home computer, open Settings, then Connections. Sign in and switch on Scaffolde Connect.

  2. Open it anywhere

On your phone or another computer, go to app.scaffolde.ai, sign in with the same account and choose your home computer.

  3. Keep that computer on

The agents run on that machine, so it needs to stay on and online. On your home network, or a private network like Tailscale, you can also pair directly by scanning a QR code from Relay.

An honest comparison

Relay, Conductor or Claude Code’s own remote access: which should you pick?

Each one fits a different setup. Checked against each product’s own documentation on 22 October 2026.

  • Pick Relay if…

you use more than one coding agent, on Mac, Windows or Linux, and want to reach all of them from your phone or any browser. It’s free to download and runs the agents with your own accounts.

  • Pick Conductor if…

you work on a Mac and like its flow: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or OpenCode on each task in its own working copy, with review and merging built in. Its paid plan adds cloud workspaces you can follow from its iOS app.

  • Pick Claude Code’s Remote Control if…

Claude Code is the only agent you use. It’s built in on Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans: start it on your computer and carry on the same session from claude.ai/code or the Claude app. It covers Claude Code only. For Codex, OpenAI offers a similar link in the ChatGPT app.
